Riverside Lakes, Wimborne, Dorset

riversidelakes is (unsurprisingly) a campsite built around three lakes. because of the abundant and varied natural habitats we are inundated with wildlife. from the smallest wiggly creatures to things that go bump (or even grrr!) in the night. we mow some of the land so that you can walk around but most of the site is left as natural meadow, woods and shrubs. we think that it’s better to share the space equally with nature, rather than commercialise it and fill it up with campers.
