Sunset View Campsite makes a wonderful base camp for anyone wanting to explore Whitby, the local villages and the wider area of Yorkshire’s Heritage Coast. The beautiful village of Robin Hoods Bay is just 3 miles away and easily reachable on foot. The famous Esk Valley Villages are a little further but trains run every few hours from Whitby. During the summer months Esk Valley Railway run steam trains through the North Yorks National Park with stops in all the major Esk valley villages.
